How Sean can help

Support for what you're facing.

Psychological challenges can affect every part of life. Sean offers a considered space to understand what is happening and work towards meaningful, sustainable progress.

You do not need to have the right words—or a diagnosis—to begin. The first step is simply a conversation about what you would like to be different.

A flexible approach

Therapy should fit the person—not the other way around.

Sean draws from several evidence-informed approaches and works closely with you to find a way of working that matches your history, preferences and goals.

Common questions

Before your first appointment.

If your question is not covered here, you can contact the practice before booking.

Contact the practice
Do I need a referral?

You can book without a referral. If you want to explore whether a Medicare rebate may apply, speak with your GP before your first appointment about your eligibility and the current referral requirements.

How do I know which therapy approach is right for me?

You do not need to decide that before you begin. Sean will take time to understand what you are experiencing, what has and has not helped, and what you want to change. Together, you can agree on an approach that feels appropriate.

Can a third party pay for my appointments?

Third-party funding may be possible where written approval is in place. Please contact the practice before booking so the billing arrangements and any required documentation can be confirmed.

What happens after I book?

You will receive appointment information through the secure booking system. Your first session is an opportunity to discuss what has brought you to therapy, ask questions and consider a way forward together.
